100% Pure Rosehip Oil: Azure Naturals: Reviewed

I just finished my review on the Azure Naturals Emu Oil and wanted to now mention a few things about Rosehip Oil. I find that both of them are lightweight and non greasy, however, in my opinion, Emu seems a bit lighter and less greasy when compared side by side. Both are quickly absorbed, but Emu is a touch lighter. I love both oils. I use both of them a couple times per week.

Rose Hip oil can be used to treat a variety of hair, skin, and nail issues. It moisturizes without a heavy or greasy feel. Rosehip Oil assists with fading redness, hyperpigmentation, age spots, acne scarring, and other skin irritation.  I find that when I use it daily either alone or with my other facial oil cleansing, my skin stays blemish free and my pores are cleaner.  When I skip days of using this or any of my oil cleansing routine, my face often gets a cystic acne blemish along my jawline.  My skin is quite clear since starting oil cleansing a year and a half ago, but I do get the occasional cystic acne bump that is extremely painful and  ugly.

Rosehip Oil provides a smoother, more supple, luminous complexion with improved elasticity.  It is not a heavy application, and so when it is absorbed into my skin, it gives a healthy appearance.  I often use it in my facial oil cleansing mixture.  I sometimes use it as a spot treatment for dry areas on my face. I like to keep my Rosehip oil in the refrigerator as it feels refreshing and seems to make it fresher and more preserved.

Rosehip Oil contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A (Retinol), are found in Rosehip oil and that is why this works so wonderfully as an antiaging oil. This oil promotes increased collagen and elastin production, which gives skin the full, supple, youthful appearance.

I often use this oil to remove my makeup or use a touch of it on my backs of my hands/around my knuckles when they are dry. You can massage a few drops on into your face, neck, and decolletage. I often put a few drops of this on my wet (water), beauty blender sponge, and then apply my BB Cream with the oiled sponge. This does not make my skin oily, but gives it a natural and healthy glow.

This oil does have a rather pungent fragrance, and is yellow in color. It glides on my skin easily and can be added to a variety of other skin care products.  After cleansing my face with my oils, I rinse and blot dry.  I then apply a toner (usually witch hazel and/or apple cider vinegar) then I apply my Vitamin C / Hyaluronic Acid serum, along with Retinol.  I follow up with a natural ingredient antiaging cream.

As mentioned in my Azure Naturals Emu Oil review, the company offers a 365-day, 100% Hassle-Free, Money Back Guarantee. Connect with the company on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on new products and sales.  This Rosehip Oil is available on Amazon.

**A sample bottle of Rose Hip Oil was sent to me for review, however all opinions in this post are my own and honest.**
