Atomic Matcha (Organic Matcha Ceremonial Green Tea Powder) Review

I was sent a packet of Atomic Matcha from Matcha House. This is a ceremonial grade and I have been using it nearly every day for the past few weeks. I have a spoiler alert. I love it.

Ingredients:
100% Organic Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea Powder

Directions: (from the manufacturer)
Sift 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Matcha into a bowl or cup then add 3oz of hot water (not boiling, best around 175 degrees F). Mix with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth froth forms on top. Add more hot water to taste. Mix into smoothies, lattes, baked goods, and other recipes for a healthy, delicious boost. Enjoy two servings a day (about a teaspoon total) for maximum benefits.

My loosely measured and often variable recipe:

I like to use as much as 1 tablespoon of matcha (more than suggested above) in my Vitamix blender with several ice cubes (probably 8-10), and 6-8 oz whole or 2% milk, several generous sprays of "extra creamy" real whipped cream, 1 capful of non-alcohol REAL vanilla extract or some real vanilla bean powder. Sometimes I will add a sweetener of choice such as some birch xylitol or real sugar. I blend on high until everything is smooth and frothy. I like to top with a little extra helping of whipped cream. Please note, this is not low fat! LOL. I only make it this way once or twice a week. I will frequently make it with just the ice, matcha, vanilla extract, and milk and leave out the whipped cream and sugar. You can modify this by using skim milk, coconut milk, almond milk, etc. There are so many options for sweeteners as well.

I really like this brand and it is very fresh. I am picky on matcha and always prefer ceremonial grade when possible. I will still use culinary grade if that is what I have. I am picky on brands as well. The important thing is having a matcha that smells, looks, and tastes fresh.

I love matcha for the balanced energy and for the healthy antioxidants. Matcha tea gives me mental clarity. I wrok at home, late at night and then get up at 6 AM to get my daughter ready for school and on the school bus. My four year old and 2 year old are generally already up or get up soon after. I find that matcha wakes me up and does not irritate my stomach like coffee has in the past. I used to be an avid coffee drinker, but a few years ago, it would make me have acid reflux and so I drink it only once a week or less. Drinking fresh matcha is full of Vitamin B and C, iron, calcium, and amino acids. Tea is always a healthy option but matcha is even more wonderful for our bodies.

This was sent to me for review, however, this is my honest opinion of this brand and I was not compensated other than a free sample packet.

Zubels Cotton Knit Football Player Orange & White Review

I was sent a Zubel toy for my honest review. I have wanted to try out this company for a while and was thrilled to review one of their items. They have all sorts of cute creatures and friends. They have items for both girls and boys whether artistic, sporty, animals lover, princess, etc. I would recommend these even for adults as they have so many themes on their website from gnomes to pirates to princesses! They even have clothing! The items are nice quality and adorable.  The items have an heirloom, timeless appearance that would be the perfect gift for a new baby, birthday, Christmas, or Easter. Do you love gnomes, mermaids,  or frogs? Their knitted toy items would be great as a cute, quirky item to put next to your computer desk at work or keep in your teen's locker at school. They even have cute knitted keychains!! These knitted keychains would be cute as teacher/bus driver gifts. Choose a special keychain, tuck it into a fun coffee mug with a $10-15 gift card and your child will brighten their teacher's week!

I was told that a bunny ballerina doll (Betsie) would be sent (I was able to choose my favorite to do a review), however, the bunny was not sent and I could not get a reply back as to a status after a few attempts. My daughter's nickname has always been "Bunny" and she loves ballerinas, the color pink, and tutus.

I was sent a 12-inch orange and white uniform football player. I must be honest, this guy is not my first choice. It is not for any other reason than the fact that we do not do sports or watch sports. No one in our home has ever worn a sports team shirt or item. I never grew up in a sport loving household. He is out of place here at our house, however, I will find him a friend very soon. He will be loved and cherished. Sports aside, this is a well made and cuddy stuffy. He is soft and will not scratch faces or skin. There are no buttons to lose. Although I love the look of button eyes, they always make me nervous around little ones due to the hazard of choking.

The quality of the stitching is excellent on this Zubel. The seams are neat and there are no bumpy or raised seams that might be uncomfortable to skin when cuddled. The colors are bright and these items are made with attention to detail. Please excuse the dull lighting in my photos, it was late and my daughter fell asleep on the couch next to me.

This 100% cotton knit football player lovely/stuffy is available in 10 different fun team colors and is also available as a 7" rattle. It is lovingly crafted in the Philippines by artisans. I love that it is cotton and is knitted. Zubels uses Eco-friendly dyes. This is machine washable. I would suggest using a lingerie bag and zipping it closed or washing in a tied pillowcase or large sock just in case. I would be afraid that a zipper would harm it. Not only is it super soft and safe, without buttons or zippers, but it is also tested 100% safe by the U.S. Product Safety Commission Standards. You can find this fella, and so many other wonderful toys and kids' items, on Zubels website and on Amazon

Here are some examples of Zubels that might catch your eye! These caught mine!
