Argan Oil by Bargain Argan: Reviewed

I have tried many Argan oils in the past year. All of them retailed for a relatively high price. Argan oil is liquid gold to me. I use it in my hair, on my face for oil cleansing each night, dry and rough patches on my heels and feet, soften my lips with it, add it to my homemade shaving cream, add to my body creams, infuse Calendula petals in it, mix a little with my foundation or BB cream and apply to my face for a nice smooth application, and many other uses. I love Argan oil, it is super luxurious.

When I was contacted to do a review for this company, Bargain Argan, I wondered if the quality would be on par with other Argan oils I have tried. Bargain Argan provides 100% pure, certified organic Argan Oil without the exorbitant costs currently found on the market. They use affordable packaging and simple plastic bottles to hold their oil. My bottle arrived to me safely and was a clear squeezable bottle with a dispenser twist cap. The bottle and its twist cap are designed to to control the amount of Argan Oil you need for certain areas where you might need a little extra control in application, such as application to the scalp and hair line. The company desires to deliver excellence in customer service and a top quality product at a fraction of the cost. They use simple labels, simple packaging, and pass the savings to their customers.

My Bargain Argan oil seemed to smell the same and feel the same as other Argan oils I have tried. The dispenser is a neat idea, however it seemed a little messy for me personally. I would twist the top closed each day, but the next day I still would have some oil dripping down on the sides a bit on the bottle. I also would have preferred this to be in a dark container like my other Argan. I realize they may want to save a little extra by using plastic, but the transparent bottles lets light into the bottle, which over time can lessen the potency of the oil and change it. Luckily for me I keep my dark in my bathroom medicine cabinet (My apothecary cubbard as I call it) and the door stays shut so it stay pretty dark in there.

I would use this oil and purchase, but I myself would want to put in in another bottle (glass) that is either dark cobalt blue or dark amber, etc. Also I am not as fond of the twist top. I use argan on my hair and face, however I always dispense the oil into my hands and warm it up with the heat of my palms, before application. The twist tip application does not really benefit me personally, however others might love it. The Argan oil itself seems of nice quality. I just would personally transfer to a dark glass bottle on my own as it would work better for me.

The Argan came lovingly packaged in a Lime Green drawstring mesh pouch which was a nice touch. My 3 1/2 yr old loves those type of bags so I gave it to her to put treasures inside. The Bargain Argan I received came with a small storage bottle with a cap and I will see what I can use that for. It was a nice little bonus. I liked how the Argan oil had a safety freshness seal on it. If you have your own dark glass cosmetic and oil bottles with a dropper lid (like I do) then this oil is a great way to save on costs. I can transfer my oil into my own glass container. Currently the oil is $7.99 with free shipping on Amazon. That is a great deal for Argan oil.
