Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap GIVEAWAY! (Review)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I am using a new soap! It is from The Healing Tree company. It is a black bar 100% pure bamboo charcoal and glycerin soap made with 4 simple Ingredients: Vegetable Oil, Water, Glycerin, and Bamboo Charcoal. I have been using more natural products for over a year now. I have gone completely sulfate free and mainly oil and steam cleanse my face. My skin looks better now at 31 then it did when I was in my twenties---no breakouts and my skin is super soft and glowing. This black bar of soap contains glycerin which I love. I have been adding vegetable glycerin to my facial oil cleansing routine as an added humectant / moisturizer. It attracts moisture to the skin and locks it in, causing radiant, healthy skin. Pure Vegetable Glycerin is also a skin cleanser that also provides softening and lubricating benefits. Bamboo charcoal is great for your skin as it is effective at drawing out pollutants and impurities from deep inside skin pores. This charcoal is what’s known as “activated” bamboo charcoal that has been pulverized and steamed, undergoing a high heat firing process to create "high absorbency properties" that will cleanse your skin.

This soap is gentle and effective in skin cleansing. I have used it nightly for over a week and am loving the way my skin feels. I do not have acne, however, my nose and cheeks often have blackheads. I have been also testing out a Konjac Cleansing Sponge and these 2 work great together for clearing out my pores. I like to use my vitamin c serum after cleansing and then a few drops of argan oil or rose hip seed oil for added skin luxury.

Bamboo Charcoal Soap Benefits:

Remove Dead Skin Cells
Unclogs Pores
Smoother Skin
Natural Ingredients
Hypoallergenic
Detoxifying
Fragrance Free

I do have 2 complaints about this soap, it does get a bit messy when wet as it is black. It does not stain, so I am happy. I do need to wipe up the sink counter after washing as it does get some black sudsy water drips after I wash. The other negative is that this is made in China. I wish it was made in the USA.

I really like this soap. I suggest trying it out if you are looking for a hypoallergenic charcoal soap and glycerin soap. Check out The Healing Tree on facebook:
