I prefer reusable nursing pads as they are more comfortable and seem to lay more naturally against my body. I was recently sent a set for evaluation from Initimom.
These are made up of terrycloth & cotton, and come in a set of 4 pairs in the colors beige (cream), pink (champagne peach), yellow and white. These have a polyester pul material on the outside to prevent wicking onto clothing. A 12x12 inch mesh net laundry bag is included for gentle laundering. A turquoise / aqua cloth strap pacifier / toy leash is included with the set as a bonus item. It functions just fine, however the pattern placement / print is rather unsightly as it it supposed to be a heart pattern, but is not centered and is on the seam. I do not like to use it as it is not as nice looking as my other toy leash clips.
These nursing pads are easy to wash in the machine. I use Nellies Natural Laundry powder to keep these fresh and clean. I do not dry these in the machine, however the company says you can dry these on low. I hang these to dry on my Ikea laundry octopus (I hang our cloth diapers on this wonderful contraption as well).
These work well and I did not have any leaking onto my clothing.
