Sabi TRIPOD store + go travel container, Reviewed

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I take prenatal vitamins as I am in my third trimester in pregnancy. I have been taking prenatal vitamins daily for the past 4 years (first pregnancy, breastfeeding, then now with second pregnancy), and these types of pills are not small in the least. When traveling with pills for a short weekend, I often put them in my vintage pill box and then put the pill box in my purse.

I had the opportunity to review another product from the Sabi company, called the TRIPOD pill storage system. This is a unique product and seems to be something many people might find useful. The TRIPOD pill box is a unique roll-open pill organizer designed to hold large pills, vitamins and supplements. It is a blue rubberized case with three large compartments. It is large enough to hold lots of pills, and yet compact enough to not take up a lot of space.

I have tested this out and have some mixed feelings about this particular Sabi product. One thing I noticed is that the hinges are not as sturdy as I would like. I am concerned that over time, with repeated opening and closing of the Tripod, the hinges will wear down and break after a short period. I also was not fond of how you have to open the entire tripod rubber lid if u need to only take one or 2 pills that happen to be stored in the lowest compartment. For me, that would be a bit of an inconvenience. I also noticed that the entire rubber lid must be clipped in extra well on all sides in order to close the entire tripod when rolling closed. I am not sure this will be used by me for medications. I think this would be better suited, at least for my usage, to store other items. It is a cute case, don't get me wrong, and it is a clever little thing. But I would also be worried about it randomly opening in my purse as the rubber latch on the outer area did not seem very secure.

I think it would be great at storing objects such as a small pair of grooming tweezers, bobby pins, hair ties, rolls of mints, lip balm tubes, or a small sewing kit. I wear a lot of bobby pins and always need extras, so for me, this will be a great bobby pin case and hair tie case. I also think I will keep my lip balm tube in this as I always worry about some summer day my purse getting over heated and my lip balm melts goo grease everywhere. This would be added protection.

Overall, I think this is a great little storage container for use in my purse or glove compartment in the car. If used in the car glove box, I can fit some band aids and a tube of antibiotic ointment, and perhaps a few other small first aid type items. Sadly I will not use this for medicines.

If you found this review or any of my other reviews interesting or helpful, please rate is as "helpful" and or leave a comment. I enjoy writing reviews and hearing feedback about what I have written as I feel reviews help those interested make an informed decision before purchasing. I also feel that honest and informative reviews improve a product by providing insight to the company.
