This essential oil was sent to me for review from Mary Tylor Naturals. I have tried other products from the company and have been impressed. We use natural bath and skin care items in our home and the company has so many items to choose from. The oil his contained in a a glass amber bottle to protect it from light. It arrived in a cardboard box and was packaged with care. The box has cellophane on the exterior. I appreciate how they used two pieces of foam inside the box for extra security against breakage. The box also contained a glass dropper. I always prefer using glass instead of plastic. I keep the original lid on the bottle for extra security against leaks and I use the dropper when I need the oil. This essential oil (as well as their other products) is available on Amazon. If you happen to order other Amazon items (clothing, food, makeup, toys, etc.), this is securely packaged and will not accidentally leak/spill onto other items in the shipment box. I noticed a review on Amazon that said their bottle leaked. My bottle was completely sealed and I did not have any issues. There was a plastic stopper inside the bottle and under the cap. I would warn that when putting on the dropper, make sure you do not twist the dropper lid too tight. I tightened my dropper lid on the lemon essential oil (same company) and had some leaking down the side.
This oil smells amazing and I love using it in our oil diffuser. We have several small diffusers that plug into the wall and we often run one at night in the bedroom for the first 30 minutes. Our diffuser has a timer that automatically shuts off. The room smells great and is mood uplifting and relaxing. I have not used this on my body but I often make body/hand balm and this would be a beautiful fragrance! It is very similar to lemon essential oil. I have used this with vinegar and water to freshen and clean our kitchen counters.
