Sugaring Factory Paste "Luxury HOME" Organic Hair Removal Review

I have been reviewing this medium sugar wax from the Sugaring FactoryUsing a wax can make the hair grow back slower and even soften after repeated use. It pulls hair out by the root.

I like using sugaring wax/paste as it rinses easily from my skin. I have experience with using soft sugar wax with cloth or felt paper strips. Clean up of spills is also easier with sugar-based wax. I like to use sugar wax while standing in the tub/shower (with the water off). I can then rinse off when needed. Sugar wax takes more practice, at least for me. I had some issues with this sugar wax and may need to use the harder wax this company provides. I had some excess stickiness when using it. It would stick to my gloves but I think I need tighter gloves and some more practice.

I generally use regular (non-sugar) wax for hair removal. It is messier but I am better skilled at using it as it is stiffer. However, regular wax can be dangerous as you need to warm it in a microwave or wax warmer until it is almost liquid. Skin can be burned.

This sugar wax is all-natural and does not contain chemical additives or colorants. I appreciate the simple ingredients. It is nice not to see a bunch of long words and unknown ingredients. Here are the all-natural ingredients: natural sugar, organic citric acid, purified water.

I want to mention that the wording and overall grammar/spelling is not the best on the paper disc packaging of this wax.

Here are some tips and some general information from the company: (copied and pasted)

The Sugaring Factory Pro Line has 4 types of paste:
  • SOFT (super soft for waxing-strips)
  • GENTLE (soft one for light hair)
  • ULTRA (all-purpose, universal paste)
  • ULTIMA (thick hair, brazilian bikini, underarm)
SUGARING instruction: (professional skills required)
  1. Hair must be at least 0.3 inches (5-6 mm) long. Avoid visiting tanning booth, pool, sauna a day before the procedure.
  2. Always use nitrile gloves.
  3. Thoroughly clean and disinfect to the area of hair removal. Sprinkle it with some drying powder if needed.
  4. If necessary, slightly preheat the paste by using standard waxing warmer or candle warmer.
  5. Apply some sugar paste on the area you are removing hair from. Pull the skin with your free hand.
  6. With a quick movement tear the paste according to the hair growth and along the skin surface.
  7. You can use the same piece of sugar paste until it starts sticking to your hands.
  8. If needed remove the traces of the paste using waxing-strips or wash them away with warm water.
