Grass Door Mat (Generic) Review

We are loving our faux grass mat in front of our door, it gives a slight retro feel which is something we like. We had decided it was finally time to retire our door mat of 10 years. It still looked ok, and definitely was more than functional, but was noticeably faded from years of sun and worn away in several spots. We were given the opportunity to review a plastic grass mat and among the sizes available, I selected the largest, which is 24x48. I am happy about the sizing as something smaller would have been much smaller than what would have fit the space. I never considered our front door area as larger than others, but a small mat would have looked silly in my opinion.

The mat arrived rolled up in a large box straight from Amazon. It was easy to unroll and set up within moments. It did take about 2-3 days for it to lay flat on the concrete porch, but was a beautiful mat from the start. It is a lovely bright "grass" green and brightens our aged, cracking concrete porch and front door area. We have have had it for a month and it has only minimal soiling. If it gets muddy or dirty, the company advises to spray it down or run it directly under water.

I did want to mention, that with most all the items that I review, it was sent to me complimentary for my opinion and review. I was not compensated for this post other than the item being sent to me for free. I always mention when an item is not up to par. A lot of the items I review are smaller company brands or generic. This mat does not appear to have a noticeable branding on it, but this does not affect my pinion of it. While generic items often do not have the quality, durability or workmanship of a well known brand that has been around for years, I find this mat functions and looks as nice as one of the bigger manufacture brand grass mats.
