InviCible Scars Advanced Scar Treatment Review

I have fairly clear skin now that I frequently oil cleanse my face and only use natural cleansers, however I occasionally get a painful cystic acne bump that stays red and irritated for a few days to a whole week before going away. I also have large pores on my nose, chin and cheeks that often make me self conscious. I am a firm believer in Vitamin C serums for the face and use various products containing this daily. I have some cleansers, facial toner spray, serums and lotions and apply them at least once, but often twice per day. Vitamin C is wonderful for complexion as it heals and clears skin.

I was recently sent a serum that is meant to be used twice daily with your makeup and moisturizing routine. I apply it after cleansing, and toning before my makeup, and then apply my BB cream with a wet beauty blender sponge. The serum is call InvinCible Scars and claims to fades scars, dark spots and hyper pigmentation.   It is also intended to be used as primer under any foundation or bb cream.  It contains silicone and is able to blur imperfections and deep pores as it appears to temporarily fill them.  Makeup is able to glide over skin and appears almost airbrushed.  What I like about this product is that is contains 17% Vitamin C, Aloe Vera and botanical extracts and oils.  It has very little scent and is gentle to my skin.

Ingredients:
Silicone (Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer), Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), ProBiosyn-4TM (Sunflower Seed Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Licorice Extract)

The company sent me a full size tube complimentary to test for a little over a month.  This is my honest evaluation of the product.  I have fairly clear skin so my results may not be as drastic as other users.  I did have one problem area on my chin/lower cheek area this month and so was happy to apply this serum over that area to see if it would calm the skin and heal the blemish quickly.  I applied the serum daily over my entire face before makeup application and then in the evenings before bedtime, after my face was completely clean.

Notice the red blemish near my chin, and my large orange peel pores.   I also have dark underage circles, however  those are due to lack of sleep (insomnia, and a newborn baby, 2 year old and 5 year old) and heredity.

This picture is about 1 week into using the product.

The large blemish seemed to clear up about 4 days after the initial application over the troubled spot.  I applied this product daily and was happy that my makeup applied smoothly and my pores were blurred.  I do want to mention that you should not use too generous of an application of serum.  The few times I went overboard would make a film over my skin and if I scratched or touched my face during the course of the day with my fingers, I would often get a mixture of tinted bb cream / foundation and the serum under my fingernails.  I want to mention if is not really the fault of the product, I have had this happen with other similar dimithicone / silicone based primers.  I recommend using a small amount for best results.

Other than that issue, I like this product a lot and think it works well.  My only recommendation would be for this to come in an airless pump container, as I prefer those.

Directions:
Apply InviCible at least twice a day directly onto the affected area. Continue using InviCible until you stop seeing an improvement, which can take 12 weeks. You can apply your daily skin-care regimen and make-up over InviCible. Apply sunblock to prevent worsening of scars and dark spots.
