Dream Dots Acne Gel Treatment Cover Patches Review

I have never had severe acne, however I do have a problem with cystic acne spots every so often.  When I get 1 or 2 (in a month) they are on either side of my jaw or I will get a hard sore spot on my forehead.  As gross as it is to mention to you, these rarely have, shall we say, the typical yuckies pimples have.  In a way, sometimes I wish they would eventually come to a head to release the pressure, but they generally feel very sore, look large and ugly, and have no relief in sight until they just go away on their own several days later.  They bug me and are incredibly red and sore.  I do not attempt to pick at them as I know that will only make them more red and potentially spread, and it is no use, as it does not relieve the pressure.  But when I do have them, I am constantly aware of them.

I was sent a product that at first I was not so sure about.  I was sent a box of 24 dots that are intended to be put of the acne spot and heal it.  The brand I was sent are Dream Dots for Spots  and they are currently available on Amazon.

Dream Dots acne gel treatment cover patches that can be used overnight (or during the day for me as they are my skin color) using no harsh ingredients, yet give dramatically effective results.  I waited almost 2 weeks before I needed them, and then I got a red cystic acne spot on my upper area of my cheek.  I was concerned as in just a few days later I would be seeing friends and family I had not seen in almost a year to celebrate my 1 year old's birthday.  I figured with only a 3 weekend before the day, that was the time to definitely try these.  My sore spot was ugly and I was happy to cover it with the dot.  I was impressed with how decently the dot blends into skin.  Looking in the mirror, I almost considered wearing one during the party if I absolutely had to.  Almost. :)

The tenderness was reduced within a few minutes.  I read that this is because the nerve endings are cushioned and protected in this moist condition dot.  I do not really understand how it works, but it does.  I would have liked to know exactly what this dot or medicine(??) consists of, as I try to use as natural of products as possible.  The company says that these are drug free, latex free, breathable, healing and are natural.

The dot swells and turns white overnight as it absorbs pus (my cystic spots do not get this as I mentioned they stay hard and sore with a tense pressure) and oil, this visibly indicates that it is working.  I kept the first patch on overnight, and through my shower that day---it totally stayed on in the shower.  I removed it that afternoon and the redness and inflammation was reduced.  The next evening I wore a fresh dot and kept it on until I showered the next day (and decided to not wear it in the shower as I wanted to oil cleanse my face and air the blemish out.  I was excited to see that it appeared to be almost gone.  It took 2 days for me.  My spot might have needed a third day if it was larger, but I was happy it was only 2 days (with a day to spare before the party).

Dream Dots:

100% waterproof, breathable, satin-smooth, wafer-thin surface, it acts as a second skin, conforming to any contour of the face acting as a protective cover and stopping the urge to bother your skin or touch the blemish.

Heals, Relieves, Protects.  Drug-Free, non-drying, Vegan, Latex-free, Cruelty-free, Suitable for all skin types, and provide natural healing.

I love these.  I think 24 of these are enough to last me a while.  I recommend them.  I had not tried this type of product previously, as I did not know it existed.  I have now seen other brands available and some are cheaper.  However, this is the brand I have tried and it works for me.

*I was sent 1 pack of 24 to review, and this is my honest opinion and results.

Please excuse my large pores.  I normally do not do pictures this CLOSE. :)

This is the next day, after wearing the same one  in my shower and then removing.  No makeup, only mascara.

This is the same day, I am just showing that the other spot is a mole, uh beauty mark. :)

This is after the second night, with a fresh one applied the night before, and removed before my shower.

This is the third night, right before the day of the party.  Beauty mark still there, but spot is not!  Bare faced, there is the slightest hint of the spot.  Pretty impressive.

Sentey Flow Foldable Headphones Review

*I was sent some headphones to review from Sentey for my evaluation*

I had not heard about them previously, but they are popular for avid gaming products.  Here are the headphones I was was sent: Sentey Flow Headphones.  These are designed for children and teens.

I love using headphones that are over the ear style as I have never been a fan of ear buds.  The only benefit of ear buds (to me) is that they are extremely space saving and fit in my pocket.  These headphones fold down very compact and I love that the cord can be removed, then wrapped up during travel or storage.  I can put these In a bag without taking up much space.

I like how they are flexible and fit many sizes from kid to adult.  I personally would not allow my 4 year old or a young child use them as I would worry about them turning the volume too loud.  These get incredibly loud on the highest setting.   We have another brand of children’s headphones that have a safety switch on them so that they only go to a certain volume and the rocker part is fixed so that it does not roll (it basically does not turn fully).  These are sturdy enough for someone who is rough on their headphones, so I do understand why some children would use these.  They fit my head and my husbands head well.

These have been tested and function well on my Macbook Pro, Kindle, Samsung Galaxy cell,  and Ipad.  I have not had expensive branded headphones ($50 is my max) so I cannot compare them to those, but obviously these would not compare to ones that are a couple hundred.  If you are looking for a travel pair or a spare to have when you are working out or watching movies on your laptop, I recommend them.  For the price of under $20, they are a great deal and if they do break or get left somewhere, they are easily replaced.  I do not feel that they would break easily, but it is nice to know that they are offered so reasonably.

They do have a pin hole speaker on them so you can answer the phone while wearing them and be handsfree or use them to speak during a multiplayer pc game.  I have not tested that aspect yet, but since my husband uses these for podcasts frequently, he is bound to have a phone call during a session.

My only recommendation would be to make them in a pink pair and a kelly green or lime green color.  I have the blue and white as I intend these to mainly be for my husband when he listens to podcasts and news on his cell phone.  These are an attractive color, but as crazy as it sounds, I like to coordinate all my electronics and accessories.

*I was sent a sample set for evaluation; however, this is my honest opinion of the product.

You can learn more on their website.  These are found on Amazon and are currently less than $15: Sentey Flow Headphones

Vanilla Mint Organic Deodorant Creme by Bella Organics Reviewed

*I was sent a sample product for review.

I have been using natural deodorant for 2 years.  I either make it myself or buy it natural and handmade from someone or some company.  I do not like all the ingredients in traditional, regular deodorant (chemicals and aluminum) and actually used to sweat more and not be as fresh as I do now.

I love trying new deodorants that are natural.  I was sent one from Bella Organics on etsy.  I tend to use cream deodorants as I prefer being able to lightly rub them in so that they absorb quickly.  This is in the fragrance Vanilla Mint and is absolutely wonderful! It is organic, chemical-free cream deodorant with baking soda and arrowroot powder that absorbs wetness naturally.  When it is rubbed into my under arm, it instantly dries to a powdery soft finish.  I have not had any staining on my clothing.  Organic Shea butter is added to this cream and it soothes and moisturizes my skin.  I have always loved Coconut oil as it has natural anti-bacterial properties (and I even add some before putting this on sometimes if I have recently shaved.  Coconut oil boosts the freshening power as well as soothes and conditions the skin.  Organic peppermint and organic tea tree essential oils are added to the deodorant to provide anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties as well.  The vanilla is sweet and the mint is cooling and fresh.

Directions for use: I use a dime sized amount under each arm.  Make sure you apply with with clean fingers since you are dipping into the jar. I would have loved a little plastic or wooden dipper.  I also apply some under chest and in my cleavage as it keeps me fresh and dry.

Ingredients: Organic Shea Butter, Organic Arrowroot Powder, (Vegan), Organic Sunflower Oil,  Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Aluminum-Free Baking Soda, Organic Peppermint Essential Oil, Organic Vanilla Extract, Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil.

I usually am overly sensitive to baking soda in natural deodorants, but this did not break me out as long as I was gentle in shaving.  I really love this deodorant and am happy that the gal is an etsy seller.  I am eyeing her Iced Lemonade Cream Deodorant as I am a huge lemon fragrance fan.

I have confidence with being able to go out of the house, in the summer with this.  I have been testing it in the Spring so far, but we have already had a few warm days.  I personally can go the next day and still be fresh (as a stay at home mommy to a 4 year old who stays home with me, and a 1 year old, I often cannot shower until around 1 or 2 pm the next day, and so this lasts me all day from when I shower, until the next day.  I really like it and I know the cooling effect will really be nice in the heated summer days.

Size: 2 oz in a handy jar.  The shelf life is 12 Months.

Island's Miracle Ultra Omega-3 Fish Oil Review

I make sure to always take my Omega 3 vitamins.  I have been taking some sort of Omega vitamin (either plant based or fish based) for almost 10 years.  I do not mind taking a fish based one as long as I know that it is safe, certified, USA made, and does not have any undesirable taste or burps.

I was sent a bottle of Omega 3 fish oil from the brand, ISLAND'S MIRACLE. This ULTRA OMEGA-3 FISH OIL comes in a 180 bottle.  I like how it has an enteric coating that has a slight lemon oil flavor.  I do want to note that these do smell fishy straight out of the bottle, so you may get a whiff of fish. :)  I am not fond of the smell, but I do not notice anything when I swallow them.  I am not a burpy person anyway, so I cannot guarantee that you won't have fishy burps, but the brand does state that you won't.

This supplement provides a nice 2,600 mg per serving of Omega-3.  The Omega contains: 650mg DHA, 860mg EPA, and 130mg other fatty acids.  This brand guarantees that their fish is USA sourced and top quality.  They use a special distillation method to safely remove heavy metals and harmful toxins.  This is important to me especially since I am breastfeeding.  It does says on the bottle to check with your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.  I took plant based Omega DHA when I was pregnant for extra precaution.  I like knowing that this supplement is third party tested as safe.

I like taking omegas as they have a numerous benefits to health and beauty as well.  Omegas contain vitamin E, which strengthens and nourishes skin and hair.  The fatty acids in fish oil capsules can beautify your hair, giving it a natural luster, make it softer and make it stronger.  Omega-3 fatty acids benefit our skin by reducing skin dryness and make skin softer.  Omegas in fish oil can benefit the heart and brain as well.

I have been taking these pills for almost 3 weeks and have not had any issues with them.  I do find them on the large side, but most fish oil pills are about this size.  Despite their large size, they do glide well when swallowed.  I like how many pills are in the bottle, for the price.

These are available on Amazon: Fish Oil Omega 3

Atrico Multi Port Rapid Smart Charge USB Tower Review

We charge our phones in a central area of our house, the kitchen.  This area is also the counter "catch all" where we put important bills that are due, coupons that will expire soon, my husband's keys and wallet, mail, spare items that get added randomly and much more.  We do not have much counter space as it is, the kitchen is fairly small, and we do not need to clutter the counter top with more items, such as cords.  I was happy to be sent an item that has made things a bit easier on charging our devices.  We do not have a home phone, so we both use our cell phones a lot.  It seems most all gadgets use USB ports to charge and so having a multi-port charging tower is very helpful.  That counter top is also where we have to store our Kitchen Aid mixer which is big and wonderful, but is a pain to unplug when needing an outlet.  With only 2 outlets on that wall, normally our cell phone chargers took up both outlets daily.  The Atrico Charger (or any other multi usb changing port) comes in handy.

Atrico Smart Charge Tower  eliminates the need for excessive charging outlets.  I like how it is a fairly attractive little unit and small in footprint.   like that the material of the unit does not feel cheap and it feels like it will last.  The small charger is safe on our countertop and does not scratch it due to the strip of rubber built into the base that also improves stability.  Now I will note, that it does not make everything cord free.  You still need cords to connect the device to your camera, Apple devices, tablets, or cell phone.  It is not wireless.  Currently we have regular length usb cords, but I would suggest finding a couple of 6 or 12 inch usb cords somewhere to use to make this as space saving as possible.

The Atrico Charge Tower has 2 Smart IC Ports for any device, 2 Smart Ports unique for Apple iOS devices and 2 Ports for cell phones.  The charger has an output of 40 Watts and 8 Amps. The device shows the active charging LED light to know when it is in use.  I like how portable it is, at only 4 inches tall.  We have not taken it with us on a trip yet but this is something that will be beneficial since not all hotels have a usb port (I have seen some lamps have a usb port built into the base).

I like this unit a lot, the improvement that would make this even better would be for it to include short usb cables with it or, even better, be a wireless usb charging device for 6 gadgets. :)

The Atrico Rapid Charge Tower comes with a 1 Year Limited Warranty.

It is available on Amazon: Atrico Smart Charge Tower
