Where have you been all my life? Neroli is in my Hyaluronic Acid and its making me swoon. I need this in a perfume or body wash like yesterday. I am no newbie to Hyaluronic Acid. I have tested so many brands over the last year, at least 1 new one each month, maybe 2 each month. I've lost count, each one has a significant change that makes it unique, whether it be a larger size, differing consistency of product, dropper vs. pump, a few added ingredients, etc. All of them have been nice, but none of them have made me want to apply it all over and just absorb the aroma. This smells beyond amazing, and it is wonderful for my skin as well. What makes this Hyaluronic acid different from others, is that this one from Petunia Skincare is infused with Neroli water and antioxidants: Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid.
Most of the Hyaluronic Acids I have tried have Vitamin C in them, which is a great ingredient and very beneficial for skin. I had never heard of Neroli before using this product, and now I am obsessed with finding a perfume infused with it. I love oil based ingredients and I love how this not only smells enticing and mysterious, but Neroli Oil is healing to skin and skin cells. Neroli oil is made from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. This fragrantly flowering tree has thick, glossy leaves and thorns---sounds a bit mysterious and intriguing, like it is luring us to its beauty with the white fragrant flowers, but we are cautioned by the thorns. Neroli is extracted by steam-distillation from the flower blossoms. The flowers are hand-gathered (due to their delicate nature)in the springtime, and it takes approximately 1000 lbs. of these blossoms to produce 1 lb. of oil, resulting in a very high cost of this precious ingredient.
When I first applied this Hyaluronic Acid, the scent reminded me of a spicy Coca Cola. The fragrance smells high end and exotic. After applying it to my face, I may have applied some extra to my hands and wrists. :) I often apply Aloe Vera to my hands to keep my hands smooth, soft and nourished. I wanted the added skin loving ingredients on my hands and I wanted to be enveloped in this scent. Really I love it that much. After enjoying the aroma, I did a Google search of Neroli and paired the term with Coca Cola, and there are a few postings that rumor this ingredient in the famous soda. This contains a super antioxidant called Ferulic Acid. After a quick Google search, I found that this ingredient is highly sought after in top quality, expensive skin care anti-aging products. It protects skin from free radicals and skin damage from the sun as well. It is healing and is fantastic for overall skin luminosity and appearance.
This Hyaluronic acid feels wonderful on my skin. It is cooling and my skin does not feel sticky or greasy after application. After several applications, my skin really looks healthy and happy. I am enjoying this product immensely. For those wondering, when it is worn on your face, you do not smell the fragrance.
I also love using pump products instead of droppers, as there is less chance of contamination and it is easier to dispense. This serum is in a dark amber glass bottle which is necessary to preserve the product and its ingredient potency. The dark color ensures light does not destroy the healing ingredients.

After washing my face, I apply Witch Hazel Toner in Lemon from Thayers. I apply this Hyaluronic Acid then I apply my Vitamin C serum. I apply my brightening and moisturizing facial primer, my BB cream, mineral veil powder, blush and the rest of my makeup.
