VITAMIN K1 - 8% Intensive Serum by Bioque

I was sent some vitamin k facial cream this past month to try.  I was excited to try it since I have severely dark circles under my eyes and have heard about the uses of vitamin k for skin issues such as bruises, scars, and age related issues.  I realize that it may take some lifestyle changes and health improvements in order for this to work as best as possible.  I do not get enough sleep each night and so have made my dark areas worse.  This lack of proper rest and sleep, paired with hereditary circles have made things worse.  The redeeming thing is that I do get plenty of water to drink which helps some.

I have been using the cream by Bioque daily after washing my face.  I want to target my under eye circles, as well as soften some of the fine lines around my eyes.  I like how this makes my skin feel after it is applied, my skin feels hydrated and after a few weeks I do think my face is brighter.  My dark circles have not improved sadly, but that is understandable since I sleep between 4-6 hours per night and need to give my skin proper time to recuperate.  Over the next few months I will try this cream on some of my stretch marks and on a spot of my leg where there is a small veiny area.  I am hoping to see improvements in those areas.

Directions for use:

Cleanse skin, apply twice daily to target areas. Gently massage or pat into skin, avoiding excessive pressure. Wait for serum to dry (about 10 minutes) before applying additional serums, creams, moisturizers, foundation or makeup.  I apply this at least once per day.  Generally I apply it before bed, but I try to remember to apply after my shower during the day.

Ingredients:

Water, Phytonadione (Vitamin K1), Isopropyl Palmitate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Trilaureth-4 Phosphate, Hexyldecanol, Hexyldecyl Laurate, Cetyl Alcohol, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Dimethicone, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Phenoxyethanol, BHT, Disodium EDTA.

I see a lot of ingredients that are favorable, such as the sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, aloe and various botanical extracts, however there are some ingredients, such as alcohol, and a few light chemicals, that keep me from loving this 100%.  I have not noticed an improvement yet with fine lines or dark circles, but then again I have only tried this for a month.

I like how easy this is to use and that it absorbs quickly.  I love that it is USA made and I can easily put my makeup on afterwards without much waiting for it to absorb.  The product feels nice on my skin and I like that my skin looks healthy.  My skin is clear.

This cream was sent to me for review from the company, however all thoughts are honest and my own.  Reference ID: pm5763abe87ed1938799203fb6e8650025 #bioque
