Evergreen Nature Hair Skin & Nails Vitamins: Review

I take prenatal vitamins each day. Not only am I making my body healthy and providing my nursing baby the vitamins he needs, but my skin, is clear and nourished and my hair and nails are growing at an incredible rate. I have also been taking a supplement from Evergreen Nature to boost the health of my skin, hair and nails as baby still takes a lot of nutrients from me and I still have some hair shed in the shower. This supplement provides 3000 mcg of Biotin, and the antioxidants Vitamins C and E. These wonderful ingredients help fight free radical damage to your skin and make glossier hair and luminous skin. Selenium and Zinc are 2 other ingredients that strengthen and fortify hair, encourage hair growth, and help with excessive hair shedding. Some hair shedding is obviously normal, and I feel my hair shedding has gotten to a healthier rate. I used to have a handful after brushing my hair, and over the last few weeks my shedding is very minimal.

Evergreen Nature’s Hair Skin & Nails Vitamins contain B vitamins. One of those Vitamins, B2, helps the body to absorb iron, which is necessary for healthy and strong nails.  I take iron and calcium (but separately as they can hinder absorption when taken together) daily and find that when I am low in my iron levels, my skin and hair look terrible, I have low energy, and feel sluggish.  The Hair Skin & Nails bottle suggests taking 3 pills each day.  They are large, but not difficult to swallow, and they do have a vitamin smell (not my favorite, but managable).  I do not have any bad aftertaste or find that these bother my stomach.  I always take my pills in the evening after dinner to make sure my stomach is better settled.  I take a lot of supplements and I have found that taking pills in the morning just does not sit well on my tummy.  These are available on Amazon.

I like how this company uses natural methods, do not use chemical additives, and their products are USA made.  They also make prenatal vitamins, which I take and find that they work well.  To learn more about the company, you can read about them on their website.  These pills seem to work well for my hair.  I cannot say for certain if they are making my hair longer, but my hair grows pretty fast anyway so I am not sure I can contribute it to the pills solely.  However, my hair is shedding much less and my nails need to be trimmed once a week.

* I was sent one bottle of this supplement in exchange for an honest review.
