"Never Mess" Flexible Molded Bibs for Baby and Toddler: set of 3:Reviewed

My daughter is going to be 4 in February (it is crazy, but that is only 3 months away, time has flown by).  When she was 7 months old she was ready for starting baby food.  She was breast fed before that and we continued mama milk with solids.  We skipped using the cloth bibs for meals, as bright orange carrot pureed baby food and army green peas were not stains I wanted to deal with on a daily basis.  I had purchased 2 silicone molded bibs in pink that have a familiar bear logo on them.  We kept one in the car for going out to restaurants and travel, while keeping one at home for daily use.  We have never put them in the dishwasher as all they need is a Clorox disinfectant wipe after rinsing or to be hand washed with dish soap.  She still has them and uses them everytime she eats.  She loves them and wecertainly do too,  as they have protected many clothing items and helped keep the kitchen floor manageable.  They have never stained, even when used with tomato sauce.

Her brother is now almost 7 months and had started solids a few weeks ago.  He is also breastfed currently as she was.  We needed some boyish color molded bibs for him as well and so when I was given the chance to review a brand that appeared similar to hers in appearance and function, I eagerly aggreed.  His bibs arrived in a set of 3.  The colors are lime green, yellow, and blue.  The neckstrap is adjustable like her bibs are, and the bibs are made of a similar flexible material.  I do notice that his are made in China and hers are made in Sweden.  Hers bibs are a bit thicker and seem better made, while his are thinner and can actually roll up if needed to store in a travel bag or lunch bag.  This flexibility is a positive thing as her bibs are not easy to stowaway in a bag, so we usually lay hers flat when storing in the car.

These bibs are dishwasher top rack safe according to the company.  We won't be putting his in the dishwasher so I cannot comment on the durability of machine washing them, but we have used these bibs every day for 3 weeks with no problem.  He has eaten bright orange, green and yellow baby foods.  The bibs wash easily by hand and have not stained at all.  The stock photo of these bibs on Amazon, show a decal of a cartoon swaddled baby and the words "Never Mess," but our bibs are plain, which is fine.  The soft material these are made from is called "Gentle-Flex" which is Eco-Friendly, BPA free, lead free and non-toxic.  They had a slight plastic odor when we first opened them, but after airing out a day after hand washing with soapy water, they are odor free.

We like these "Never Mess" bibs and the only aspects we would have preferred is them to be USA made and for them to be a thicker material like our daughter's bibs.  If we had never experienced her bibs, and had not been able to physically compare her bibs with his bibs, we probably would not notice how these are a bit on the thin side.  They are still great bibs, and we like them a lot.  We will continue using them.    I know they will last a good while if they are anything similar to her bibs.  The adjustment neck is a great feature.  My daughter is 34 lbs and almost 4 years old, and her bib neck part fits her still.  I am thinking our son will be able to use his a long time as well.

These are available on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
