TRIM FUEL Protein Shakes: Reviewed

I make a protein shake each morning, and often as an afternoon pick me up snack. My shake consists of a Vanilla Super Food Protein Shake, milk, Cacao powder, 2 frozen bananas, and Green Matcha Tea powder. I blend those ingredients in my blender and it really energizes me for a busy day of being a stay at home mommy, homemaker, and blogger.

I am always on the lookout for new ideas to mix it up a bit with my smoothies/shakes so that I do not get burned out. I had the opportunity to try out some protein shakes from Trim Fuel Nutrition. I was sent a one size serving of these 4 flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla, Mocha Latte, Apple Cinnamon. When they arrived I pretty much had in my mind that the Apple Cinnamon would be terrible just because it sounded weird for a smoothie/shake. I like apples, I like cinnamon, and I love apple pie/apple cinnamon desserts, I just thought that this combination as a shake did not sound appetizing to me.

I tried the Vanilla and Chocolate ones, which were pretty good (not better than any other similar protein shake of another brand) I was expecting them to be good and they were. I generally like getting Vanilla protein powders as I can either add cacao (chocolate) or add berries to change it up. Vanilla is so versatile.

What really surprised me was that the Mocha Latte (which has Stevia in it---an ingredient I do not normally like as the Stevia flavor (and all sugar substitutes really) seems "off" to me and I like using pure sugar instead) was my favorite. I added some pure cacao powder for a boost in antioxidants and for a deeper chocolate flavor, and my usual 2 frozen bananas and milk and it was wonderful!

My second favorite of the samples was actually the Apple Cinnamon! I was blown away. It did not have a strong apple flavor (which I was glad), what I tasted most was the spice from the cinnamon. It reminded me of a frothy frozen Chai Latte drink (blended with milk and ice). Delicious! My husband liked that one as well. It was a nice surprise for a protein shake flavor. Good Job Trim Fuel!

The Trim Fuel shakes are great for weight loss or boosting nutrition. These are made with Whey Protein Isolate, which is an excellent way of delivering amino acids to your body. One scoop of Whey Protein Isolate provides 24 grams of high quality protein, and is fortified with minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants (Trim Fuel).

Single Serve Packs are available as well in case you want to try different flavors before committing. The single servings are also great to purchase to have on hand for traveling. They will fit nice and flat into a gym bag, purse, or briefcase.

The full size 2 lb. container provides about 30 servings and is currently $49.95 before any discounts. I make a lot of protein shakes so I have seen prices from many brands when I shop. Protein shakes are pricy, but that is understandable for what they provide. This price is only a little bit higher than my My favorite Brand (Vanilla) .(My brand has 34 grams Protein, 10 grams Fiber, and 5 grams Fat. My brand is plants based from sprouts).

The company currently has some special pricing right now:

SAVE 15% on your first full size purchase! Code: FUELME to SAVE 15% on Trim Fuel Shakes.

I like how these are Made in the USA

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Blend or mix 1 level scoop with 6-8 ounces water, fat free milk, or low carb Soy milk. I like 2% milk so that is what I used with my powder. I also like using 2 frozen bananas to make my shakes frothy and thick like a milkshake. I always like adding a tablespoon of pure cacao powder as well, but these

*Mocha Latte is sweetened with Stevia
