Baby Boutique Headbands by GCH: Reviewed

I have always loved doing hair, whether it is my own, or another gal's. I love wearing hair fascinators (I have been making my own since 2008) bobby pins, hair bows, barrettes, headbands, etc. I like putting them in my 3 1/2 year old daughter's hair as well. When she was a baby, we did not put too many headbands in her hair as my daughter kept taking them out. I would see so many little babies and young toddlers with cute bows and wished my child would keep hers in her hair. Luckily she is wanting to be more like mommy every day and I seem to always have something in my hair. She likes hair bows and headbands now. I often have my hair in a 1960s-esque style complete with a hair fascinator I have made or something I have bought. Not everyone will like my style for themselves, but I am being myself and I feel most comfortable this way.

When I got the opportunity to try out and review some headbands from the GCH Website, of course I was pleased! You may remember that I reviewed a girl's romper from them: Review Here.

"Girls Crochet Headbands is a family-owned business, founded in 2008, and has something for everyone – infants, toddlers, teens, even moms! From baby headbands to hair bows and flower clips, from kufi hats to beanies, from must-have tutus and feathers, to rompers, shorts and tops." (GCH website)

This website has many different selections for fun items for dressing up your little mini you:

I was sent a random 5 pack of headbands:

- Muave Princess Diamond Headband
- Pink, Ivory, White Bouquet of Roses Headband
- Red Elegant Pearl Headband
- Yellow Mini Bow Headband
- Pink Blooming Headband

The headbands seem to be made nicely and are very reasonable in price. They range in price from around $0.99 to $3.99 each, or they have package deals where you can get an assortment. It is a wholesale based website, so they are not made by a WAHM or group of WAHM's. (Which is what I originally thought when I first reviewed the romper). They are a great quality for the price.

I do want to note that these headbands seemed to large in the band for my 3 1/2 year old. I am not sure how they would stay on an infants head. They fit much better on my adult head. :) I will wear these myself as well, so that works for me! I had to use clippies to keep the headband straps on my daughters head and in her hair. I did notice as the day went on, the headband strap was slipping farther back towards her ponytail. My headband strap was perfect and comfortable for me. My daughter and I loved wearing these. I would have liked there to be an option to select "headband" or "pinch clip" for each item on the website. I do realize that since these are not made by the company this may not be an option. I think a barrette style or pinch clip would stay in a wider variety of little girls hair better than a headband might.
